1. The official calendar for all civil, governmental, legal, educational, and economic purposes shall conform to the internationally recognized ISO 8601 standard.

Delegated technical implementation — version, date formats, interoperability requirements, and implementation rules are not newly selected. These details shall be supplied under the lawful implementing authority; this proposal selects no new values.
